I love this dress and it looks really nice on, except....my breasts are popping out everywhere! I bought 2 other dresses this season size 20 and the fit wonderfully, although different style. I bought this in a 2x as linen isn't usually very forgiving and with the high belt I thought a bigger size might be better. Not one of the spaces between buttons from top until the hidden snap button are anywhere near close to closed. The material is light and comfy, a bit see thru but it does have some lining underneath to help. I am going to have to exchange it coz busting out just wont do. Unfortunately, I'll have to find something else coz I'm not seeing any other size options available. Unfortunate, coz I really love the dress!

I was sceptical if this would fit length-wise. I'm 5'6, usually wear a 16/18. I bit just below my calf. Having read previous reviews, I was not worried about the button gaping at the bust being a 38C. I was pleasantly surprised ! Love this dress! Can be styled with ankle boots and jean jacket or summer wedges. This will be a staple dress for vacation and Summer weekends! (Just be wary this does wrinkle easily but adds to the relaxed look).

Haven't worn this yet but I have lost some weight and want to start wearing dresses and this looks amazing on. You can't see through it, which is great as some lighter coloured clothes you have to wear layers...not nice when it is too hot!

I really, really wanted to love this dress and give it 5 stars, but there are a few issues that puts me a little closer to "meh." For one thing, the fabric quality didn't blow me away--it's not the nicest linen blend I've ever seen, or would have been better in 100% linen. The colour is also a very "blue" white that looks almost greyish in certain lights. My skin tone almost can't pull it off. I usually wear a 16/18 and tried this in the 1X. While it fit, I'm on the fence about whether to size up or abandon the style altogether. I'm not sure why plus-size brands insist on button-up styles, especially dresses, with no reinforcement to prevent gaping, or even fake buttons except for a couple at the top and bottom. If you're a chubby woman, the buttons are going to pull, even with an elasticated back; there are little snaps on the bodice that are supposedly meant to prevent this, but in actual fact made no discernible impact on the problem. I would almost consider sewing the dress closed to fix the gaping issue, because the way the buttons pull is really unattractive, especially across the bust. Unfortunately going one size up just made the dress look baggy. I'm very torn about this dress because it's a style I covet each summer, and it's nice to see it in plus. But there are little design details that could have been done more thoughtfully for curvy bodies. I will probably end up keeping it, though, because it's so difficult to find nice linen button-down dresses above a size 14. That being said, if you are bigger than a 38G on the bust or more apple-shaped, I would suggest sizing up. The skirt has a bit of room in the hips but seems tightest across the bust and midsection, though the ability to tie it and define your waist is really pretty.
