Love these boots! Fit me perfectly & they're comfy - I bought in the beige/sand colour but now I WISH I COULD SLSO GET THEM IN BLACK TOO?!:(

These looked BEAUTIFUL on me, I wear a size 8 in a normal shoe size, in wide width shoes/boots I order a smaller size, for example, in TOrrid shoes, I'm a 7.5, and since size 8 was sold out in this Pennington boot, I ordered 9's which had LOTS of room, SO ROOMY for jeans, looked good with my coats, dresses too, and leggings, and for the room, and in being extra wide, they looked like they do on most models, no pinching, the zipper just glided up no tight spots and they were SO COMFY in the width, BUT since there was no padding in the footbed, I opted to send back, because I didn't want to take the chance that padding it myself wasn't quite good enough and that they were a higher heel for me than what I wear most of the time, ...for reference I wear a size 16 jean/pant, my calves are 18 inches, (one is actually 17.5 inches) and these in size 9 were ROOMY but not sloppy, they are cut so nicely,...and they looked PERFECT not too baggy, or saggy. The heel height felt awkward for me, I have heels and wear them only to dress up with, but I prefer padded footbeds, and slightly lower, if you can wear a high heel and be ok, then you could go with these and choose if you want to, to pad the foot bed, unless you don't need that, but I know I DO. I LOVED!!!!>>>THE COLOUR, LOVE THE STYLE, they looked GREAT OTHERWISE! no pinching in calf and bagging in ankle, they seem well proportioned !!! and other than what I mentioned about the sole not being padded and a higher than most heels I wear/I would have kept them. They may have been harder to walk in because they were a size too large for me, but I think I could have worn them for short stints with double padding?..., padding may have helped. Didn't want to take the chance.Probably would have been just right in a size 8 for me. LOVE the extra wide width. I put feels just right in sizing, even though I got the size 9 and they were comfortably roomy, I really am quite sure 8 would have been perfect and felt just right..

I'm guessing extra wide is just for the foot because it didn't feel all that generous on my extra large calves. Measuring my calves they're an 18" and it was a struggle to get these on (especially Hard at the lower calf area). Once they were on they looked cute but unfortunately can't keep them as I was scared I would break the boot!

Normally, I order 1/2 down when they are wide but these were slightly smaller than usual. The real problem was they were not really comfortable. The moment I put them on, you can tell there is not extra padding in the ball of the foot and your feet will hurt after not wearing for long.

Bought these in a size 11WW, they fit my foot perfectly, but unfortunately the shaft of the boot would not zip closed over my calves. Very sad as especially with a larger size buying from a plus size store, I didn't even consider that the shaft would be too small, and there was no measurement information for the shaft before buying.

I have these in black as well. They are so sexy with skinny jeans, a mid-knee skirt, or cropped leggings. Nice heel height and strength too. They are very generous in sizing though. I'm usually a 9, and I took an 8 in these. They're very roomy in the calves for me, but if you carry your weight in your legs (I'm apple-shaped), you're gonna love these. Lots of space to tuck pants in as well. Remember to treat the suede before wearing them in bad weather.
