These panties are made from a heavier material and fit beautifully, with a front panel that covers my belly. One of the main issues with plus-size panties is that the front of the leg opening is cut higher than the back and leaves a lot of the belly exposed. I ordered these panties in my usual size and they fit perfectly...snug but not tight...as shapewear should be. I'm very happy with this purchase and have already bought a bunch!
After reading the reviews I bought a pair in 3X and 2X even though by measurements I wear a 3X. The 3X was definitely too big and as another reviewer mentioned, the front of these briefs fall below the leg break. I checked to make sure I didn't have them on backwards because the front is too long and the back is too short. The material is a bit thicker than most briefs but wasn't supportive. Maybe if I had gone down to a 1X I would have felt supported, but then they would have super short in the back and the 3X was close enough to cheekies as it was. Invest in Spanx or another reputable brand of shapewear. Unfortunately this is not it. Poor fit, poor sizing, poor quality.
so comfortable and offer some support
I have purchased this sort of panty from Pennington for 25+ years. This is at least the third iteration of this type of panty over a long period of time, each one worse than the last and inferior to the original one. I did read the latest reviews but ordered them anyways because I didn't know where else to get a similar product. They stretch out and crawl up the rear end. Will look elsewhere as these are way too expensive to waste my money on. I still have some of the originals and they are in good shape. Newer versions have ended up in the bin!
I love the fit, full coverage, and support of these panties. Will definitely buy more!
These feel great on and are so neutral you can wear under white. I recommend sizing down. They fir extra big!
I thought that there would be a good percentage of cotton in those briefs., but it full polyester and elastine. Knew the minute I open the bag to pull one out. The five pairs I bought are still in the bag.
It does fit snug, but it's shapewear so it probably should or else it wouldn't do anything (I got my usual 1x for bottoms)? Seen as how this is my first piece of shapewear, I don't know what to expect so: it does smooth my tummy slightly and I can definitely feel the difference, however I'm not convinced it makes that much of a difference visually when wearing more formfitting shirts (I haven't tested using bottoms yet) and I find that it rolls down on the sides which is annoying. Sizing up might've helped, but I think the difference would be even less effective. Sadly, I cannot return it, but I'm sure I'll find a use for it someday to get my money's worth.
