How to take your measurements
Bust
Measurement does not pertain to bra size. Wrap a tape measure under arms, keeping the tape comfortably loose. Measure around the fullest part of the bust. Ensure that the tape measure is parallel to the floor.
Height
Stand barefoot with a straight posture.
Regular - For women 5' 4" - 5' 7"
Petite - For women 5' 4" and under - Sleeves are slightly shorter. The body is adjusted proportionately throughout. Pant inseam is 2" shorter than regular.
Tall - For women 5' 7" and taller - Sleeves are slightly longer. The body is 1" longer. Pant inseam is 2" longer than regular.
Waist
Keeping the tape measure comfortably loose, measure around the smallest area of your waist.
Hips
With feet together, keeping the tape measure comfortably loose, wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of the hips.
Inseam
Stand with your shoes on and measure from the crotch to the bottom of the shoe.

What I find disappointing about these puffer coats is that they all lose feathers and make a mess. I bought a short one and a long one and they are both the same. Ugh!

I am very disappointed in this coat. Although I love the colour, it is not at all warm. This is my third packable jacket and the most disappointing of all.

I purchased this jacket with the hope that it would keep me warm while going for walks outside -- it is not well made and does not keep me warm. The sleeves are too short and the wrist holes are far too large. There is such a gap in activewear in plus sizes and this jacket, unfortunately, falls short. I would love to see Penningtons invest in activewear the quality of Columbia and North Face, and available in sizes above a 3X. The jacket also rides up during movement (sizing is fine...just doesn't stay put).

Very light weight coat which is nice BUT is not warm at all. I don't need a warm coat but this one is ridiculous. Not worth the money you pay.

I use this daily for my bike commute and it's spectacular. The puffy parts are quite water resistant and windproof so I don't get chilly. The stretchy sides allow me the movement I've never been able to find elsewhere and the fit is exactly right for my fairly boxy, athletic self. I bought the 1x as it doesn't cling anywhere on my size 16-18 body so I'd say true to size for outerwear. The filling is polyester not down (which I prefer), so I don't know how the person commented about feathers but it does seem to keep me warm anyway and packs up delightfully small. I usually overheat in everything I wear so this is perfect for me. Overall this has been a great purchase.

Maybe I'm out to lunch and should have somehow realized, but nowhere did I read that the materials consisted of feathers before ordering it online. All it said was nylon. If I had known that this jacket wasn't animal product free I wouldn't have bought it. But now the tags are off and I didn't realize what was in it until they started popping through the material of the jacket while wearing it.
