Cross sizing can differ depending on the customer’s body type.

  • Customers with a thicker under bust section should cross-size up the band and reduce the cup size.
  • Customers with a fuller bust should size up the cup size, but reduce the band size.

Example: For a customer who wears size 42D if she has a thicker under bust section, the best cross-size should be size 44C. If she is fuller in her bust and not so thick in her under bust, the best cross- size would be 40DD.

Disappointed in durability

Overall an alright product, although 2 disappointments. It has very limited adjustments in the straps; even at the shortest, the straps are too long for me. This was an issue with all of the styles that I tried on at Penningtons, not style specific. Its not the first brand that has had this issue for me, so not a deal breaker, but it is something to be aware of. Biggest issue for me was that after having the bra for a month, the underwire has already popped through the fabric. I'm disappointed that for the price of the bra, it hasn't held up well at all.

This is a great everyday bra. The lining is just enough without feeling padded and the nude colour goes under anything. However, I find there isn't enough adjustment in the straps. I adjust it down as far as it will go and the straps still tend to slide off. I have narrow shoulders and a short torso. It would be nice if the straps weren't as wide apart. That might help with the slipping issue. Overall a good value for money, just needs some tweaks. Not every plus szed woman has broad shoulders and a long body.

Over the years I've paid a LOT of money to find bras that fit. At 42H sizing, with the Daniela, I've found my fit! Just about perfect in every way. No bulging, no stabbing, smooth cups, comfortable straps. My only complaint would be that the straps could use a bit more room for adjustment. Being short in the body, they are a touch long after being worn for a few hours.
