I was so looking forward to having this piece in my wardrobe. I loved everything about it ... EXCEPT ... I ordered my normal size and it was enormously huge. Order a size down if you are considering this piece.

How to take your measurements
Bust
Measurement does not pertain to bra size. Wrap a tape measure under arms, keeping the tape comfortably loose. Measure around the fullest part of the bust. Ensure that the tape measure is parallel to the floor.
Height
Stand barefoot with a straight posture.
Regular - For women 5' 4" - 5' 7"
Petite - For women 5' 4" and under - Sleeves are slightly shorter. The body is adjusted proportionately throughout. Pant inseam is 2" shorter than regular.
Tall - For women 5' 7" and taller - Sleeves are slightly longer. The body is 1" longer. Pant inseam is 2" longer than regular.
Waist
Keeping the tape measure comfortably loose, measure around the smallest area of your waist.
Hips
With feet together, keeping the tape measure comfortably loose, wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of the hips.
Inseam
Stand with your shoes on and measure from the crotch to the bottom of the shoe.

When I received this item, I realized the pattern was not my style. The print looks too busy for my liking. It was also quite large. I am returning this.

This is a nice completer piece for dressy outfits. Could also be a classy swimsuit coverup with a black suit. I agree that even the x/1x is huge but that just makes it more "flowy"( not a word. but it describes it well) Good wardrobe addition at a bargain price!

I wasn't entirely sold on this item until I saw it in person. The reddish brown accent colour really stands out and makes it very stylish in my opinion. I do think the sizing is hugely generous, such that even the smallest size of X/1X is very big. I'm sure some small alterations could be made if you were so inclined to make it more fitted

I love the pattern. But the sizing is horrible. It looks like I'm wearing a 3X instead of X/1X. So disappointed.

An afterthought

I ordered this cover up kimono to get free shipping, but when I got it, I was quite pleasantly surprised! It's lovely and I may even like it a little more than the blouse I ordered. In my opinion it could be worn all year with many different outfits. A steal at the sale price!
