This jacket along with all of the Michel Studio collection don't fit the same as Penningtons traditional size. If you order this jacket, I would order a size bigger.

Love, love love this plus sized version of the traditional trench. It's got the double breasted opening, faux double back flap, slash pockets and cuff buckles of the classic coat, but it has been updated with a slightly shorter length and an interesting wide curved collar. The shell is made of a heavier quality material that gives the garment some heft. It's not one of those noisy, rustly, cheap raincoats. This topper is a keeper. Fit was a tad larger, so I sized down from my usual 16 to a 14.

I ordered this trench in a size 18, it was a little large for me so i returned it for a 16 which fit me bettter, the only problem is that the sleeves of the new size 16 are filthy dirty, like someone wore it for a while and then sent it back. The trench is very nice and well made other than that, but Im really grossed out by the dirty sleeves. I thought they would have at least cleaned it before they sent it to ME. shame on you.

As other reviewers have said, this looks and feels like a luxe trench - from the outside. The lining, however, is that cheap material that AE always seems to use in their jackets that just seems like a lazy disregard for their customers. Clearly us plus size gals are willing to spend on quality garments but it's insulting to charge what you do but continue to subject us to F21+ quality.

Really like the fit of this one length is good the ecru is just the best colour goes with anything jeans dress pant dress haven't worn it yet sizing is good I'm quite broad through the shoulders and have a hard time getting fitted but this coat is perfect addition Elle got this one right

I bought this in store in black. Its also very nice in the ivory color too. The fit is great. The material is quality which gives it a high end look & feel, and for me makes it worth the higher price point of this coat. Stylishly cut & classic. I have been looking for a quality trench coat for a number of years & finally found it. A very nice spring coat. The belt is really long. I look forward to wearing it once it warms up from the -20 C weather we're having.
