Sizing is different between the 2 colours
Sizing is different between the 2 colours. I bought a size 1X in each colour and found the grey to be a slimmer fit than the tan. Most noticable is the sleeves of the grey one. They are tighter than the tan one's and are almost too tight but the tan one's sleeves are very comfortable and fit very nice. I like a snug fit but the grey one is almost too snug in the body whereas the tan one is just right, almost on the verge of being loose. When the grey one is on it has a fold infront of the neck above the chest that stands up but the tan one doesn't do this. I believe this is because of the tighter fit of the grey one. I washed both in the washing machine and dried them in the dryer - 1 at a time. They shed a handful of lint, about a 1 3/4" ball each and they didn't shrink; nor di the loss of lint affect their quality. I used cold water and a low setting on the dryer. The size and shape of the dresses didn't change either. It appears each colour is produced on separate factory lines and either the knitting machine tenshions are set differently or the yarn's diameter is slightly different between the two colours. Still I am very pleased with them and recommend them. They are beautiful and ever soooo soft & comfy. Makes me feel like having a glass of wine with my supper. I bought them to wear around the house in winter. I like a snug fit because nothing gets caught or gets in the way while working; which is actually a safety feature (something ignored in the fashion world - a place where women's safety and sucess should be important).
