How to take your measurements
Bust

Measurement does not pertain to bra size. Wrap a tape measure under arms, keeping the tape comfortably loose. Measure around the fullest part of the bust. Ensure that the tape measure is parallel to the floor.

Height

Stand barefoot with a straight posture.

Regular - For women 5' 4" - 5' 7"

Petite - For women 5' 4" and under - Sleeves are slightly shorter. The body is adjusted proportionately throughout. Pant inseam is 2" shorter than regular.

Tall - For women 5' 7" and taller - Sleeves are slightly longer. The body is 1" longer. Pant inseam is 2" longer than regular.

Waist

Keeping the tape measure comfortably loose, measure around the smallest area of your waist.

Hips

With feet together, keeping the tape measure comfortably loose, wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of the hips.

Inseam

Stand with your shoes on and measure from the crotch to the bottom of the shoe.

Pretty but thin

I just received the Love in Navy blue shirt as a gift and it is so so pretty. I previously purchased the black La Vie est Belle one. Got compliments on both. The navy and gold combo is gorgeous. Why don't they make everything in navy blue if they are doing black. The blue contrasts so well with other colours. It is again, a very thin shirt and more appropriate for the Summer. It also fits quite large so if you don't wan to look like you are wearing a moo moo, size down.

Very Thin and Clingy

I bought several of these in different patterns and was quite disappointed. The patterns were pretty but the material is so thin that it clings to every little bump. The sizing was fine but instead of falling nicely it sticks and clings to your back, your front and your butt. I have purchased many t-shirts from Penningtons in the past and have never been this disappointed. I would not recommend. I will wear them around the house only.

In Every Story is true to sizing and this Tee is no exception. I'm normally a 2X in most everything but this designer - I know I'm a 1X. I have bought at least 6 of these shirts as I'm a fan of thin and light T-shirts with a huge cotton material. This is a perfect blend Tee to wear in the hot summer or in the winter under sweaters etc. This shirt breathes!! Love.

Stretches out of shape

In 3 days, stretched around neck so much, had to keep puling back onto shoulder. Washed today, and neck has stretched even worse. Looks like the TV commercial of guy on 1st date with t-shirt neck all stretched & claim is 'half washed'. These shirts are: 60% Cotton, 40% viscose. I'll never get something made this way again. I bought the La vie est belle shirt and it is so cute. I received many compliments on it. It is, however, so thin. I love thin shirts but for the price I would want it to be a little more structured and thick but the print is beautiful and I will wear it until it is worn out. Oh and it fits large. Even the x is quite loose on me.
