Return Policy

What is your return policy?

Eligible items can be returned within 30 days of purchase, provided they are unworn with the tags on, unwashed, and in original condition, with the original receipt or proof of purchase.

Which items are final sale or not eligible for return or exchange?

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Opened socks or hosiery
  • Panties and shapewear
  • Jewelry (including pierced earrings and toe rings)
  • Gift cards
  • Items purchased with gift receipts
  • Items marked Final Sale
  • Items purchased in store with a price ending in $.97

Can I return items purchased with a gift card?

Yes. Refunds are issued based on the original payment method:

  • Online purchases paid with a gift card and returned by mail are refunded as an e-gift card, once the return is processed. The e-gift card is sent to the email address associated with the original order.

  • In-store purchases paid with a gift card are refunded as an exchange or gift card, based on the amount paid.

  • If a credit card was used along with a gift card, the credit card portion is refunded first, with any remaining balance refunded as an e-gift card.

How do I return an online order that was shipped to me?

To return your order by mail, start a return and follow the instructions to generate your return label.

For a quicker refund, you can also return your items at any of our Penningtons stores.

Can I return an online order in store?

Yes. Online orders can be returned at any Penningtons store with your order or shipping confirmation or order number.

How will I receive my refund?

Refunds are issued based on the original payment method used for the
purchase:

•  Purchases made with a Credit Card: Refunded to the original card.

•   Purchases made with a Gift Card: Refunded to the original gift card.

•   Purchases made with PayPal: Refunded to the card linked to your PayPal account.

• Purchases made by a credit card and gift card together, the credit card portion is refunded first, with any remaining balance refunded as an e-gift card.

Returns without a receipt may be accepted as an exchange or gift card. Valid identification may be required.

 Please allow 1–2 billing cycles for credit card refunds to appear on your statement.

How long does it take to receive my refund for a mail in return?

Once your return is received at our facility, please allow up to 10 business days for the return to be processed. You’ll receive an email notification once your refund has been processed. You can use the return tracking information to see when your package has been delivered back to us.

Returns - In-Store Purchases

How do I return an item purchased in store?

Bring the item to any RW&CO store. If you have your original receipt or proof of purchase, your refund will be issued according to the original payment method. Returns without a receipt may be accepted as an exchange or gift card. Valid identification may be required.

What do I need to bring to return an in-store purchase?

Please bring the item with tags on and your receipt or proof of purchase.

Can I return an in-store purchase without a receipt?

Returns without a receipt may be accepted at the store’s discretion. Returns without a receipt may be accepted as an exchange or gift card. Valid identification may be required.

Store purchases and in store pick-ups must be returned in store.

Exchanges in Store

Can I exchange an item purchased in store?

Yes. Exchanges are available in store.

Can I exchange an online purchase?

Yes. Online purchases can be exchanged in store only.

Can I exchange a final sale item?

No. Final sale items cannot be exchanged.

Price Adjustments

How long do I have to request a price adjustment?

Price adjustments must be requested within 10 days of the date of the original purchase, and the lower price must be in effect at the time of the request.

Which items are not eligible for a price adjustment?

Final sale items and select promotions are not eligible.

How do I request a price adjustment?

In-store purchases: Visit a store with your proof of purchase. The original sale receipt or gift receipt must be presented, and the price tag must be attached to the merchandise. Note that our Customer Care team cannot initiate any price adjustment requests for purchases made in-store.
